The goal of the program is to focus on proper speed skating techniques and skill development.
Participants in this group have the option of skating two or three days per week. The two-day program will consist of two Short Track sessions every week at the Shane Homes YMCA at Rocky Ridge. The three-day program adds one Long Track session every week at the Calgary Olympic Oval as well.
Skaters will have 30-min dry land sessions followed by 60-75 min on-ice sessions.

\n\n[/cs_content_seo][cs_element_text _id=”12″ ][cs_content_seo]The Learn to Train group is suitable for both recreational skaters as well as those looking to progress to the Advanced Training Group.
